Students will be introduced to registered nursing practice in a Canadian adult acute care unit. They will adapt previously learned nursing knowledge and skills to the Canadian context. Students will learn how to collect and critically analyze client information, formulate plans of care, set appropriate priorities, and provide nursing care for two to three clients within the Canadian healthcare setting. They will learn the process of developing professional caring person centred relationships with clients and effective working relationships with peers and the health care team.
