Topics include the scientific method, chemistry of life, cell biology, the flow of energy in living systems, cellular energy, reactions and enzymes, metabolism, photosynthesis, cell communication, cell division, heredity, DNA, genes and gene expression. Laboratory required (3 hours/week)
