Examines the interplay of wealth, power, communication, and culture. Topics may include the commodification of culture, the globalization of media and cultural markets, the role of culture in economic development, the creative city, museums, cultural policy, media imperialism, intellectual property, media ownership, mobile communication, social media, and precarious employment in the media and cultural industries. <br> <br><font color="crimson">
