OCCU 5022

Drawing on the reasoning and practice skills and the knowledge developed in previous and concurrent courses, this course will introduce students to the neurological aspects of occupational therapy practice. Applying knowledge across the practice process will be emphasized. Lectures will build on learning from OCCU 5014 and OCCU 5018 to address neurological conditions, assessments and interventions. In labs, hands-on practice with assessments, interventions and documentation will foster skills for working with people who experience neurological occupational issues. Integrating knowledge and skills across courses this term is expected.
