This course explores the ways occupation and occupational therapy practice are shaped by social privilege and oppression. Students will learn to critically analyse how intersecting axes of oppression and privilege shape experiences, values, and assumptions, while also affecting occupational opportunities and barriers. Approaches to anti-oppressive practice will be introduced.
