OCCU 5029

Fieldwork II

Lec 01 selected

In this field education course, students focus on the broad scope of occupational therapy practice, building capacity for occupational participation with individuals, groups and communities. Though experiences and expectations will vary by site, students begin to develop professional identity and an applied understanding of scope of practice. Students describe and justify their clinical reasoning through the full process of occupational therapy practice, demonstrating skills and professional behaviour for safe and respectful practice. Under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists, students receive feedback and frequent coaching. Students engage in critically reflexive practice.
