OCCU 6019

Fieldwork III

Lec 01 selected

In this field education course, students focus on developing competence, confidence and skill in working with individuals, communities, and/or organizations to respond to complex occupation-related challenges. Though fieldwork experiences and expectations will vary by site, students develop a clear professional identity, and gain skill in detailing and justifying their clinical reasoning, and implementing the full process of occupational therapy practice. Critical reflexivity becomes a routine part of practice. Students will demonstrate skills and professional behaviour for safe and respectful practice. Under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists, students receive feedback and periodic or occasional coaching.
