OCCU 6024

This course focuses on inclusion to optimize community belonging and occupational participation for all people. With a focus on rights, relationships and belonging as well as access, students learn practices and policies intended to support universal design and/or inclusion in multiple contexts. Students learn to assess for inclusion, as well as how to employ design, technology and community approaches to enhance inclusion and occupational participation. Students reflexively critique the limitations of inclusion, as well as the strengths and limitations of technologies.
