This course deals with the basic concepts and application of heat and mass transfer in biological and bioenvironmental systems. Heat transfer topics including steady and unsteady state heat transfer, convective and heat transfer with change of phase. Mass transfer topics include steady and unsteady state mass transfer, convective mass transfer, gas-liquid mass transfer, and membrane transport processes.[Restriction(s): ENGG*3160, ENGG*3430.
